Position Summary:

Passaic Mobile Response and Stabilization Services is looking for as Assistant Program Director who is energetic, creative, flexible to join a fast pace environment. The Assistant Program Director provides supervision and over site to the team who provide crisis management and de-escalation services to youth and families in Passaic County.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Aligns with CFS mission and vision
  • Supervision of 4-5 Program Coordinators/Administrative Assistant
  • Processing unexpected crises related to families when they occur
  • Responding to and processing conflict among staff
  • Improving communication among the team
  • On call 24/7
  • Back-up on-call coverage for the Director
  • Back-up coverage for any meetings, presentations, or other engagements
  • Assist in the completion of reports
  • Assist in reviewing candidates and hiring new staff
  • Assist with on call time-sheets
  • Act as Mobile Director when Director is not available
  • Monitoring billing and ensure accurate and submitted in timely manner
  • Cover Treatment plans as needed
  • Overseeing the training of new CISs and Program Coordinators, as per agency and state requirements
  • All other duties as required by agency/program/funding source
Job Requirements (Qualifications):
    • Licensed as a LCSW, LPC, or equivalent
    • Minimum of a MA, in respective field required
    • At least 3 years supervisory experience in human/social service field
    • Experience with community relations and crisis intervention.
    • Must be energetic, creative, and able to work as part of a community resource team, and be culturally competent and responsive.
    • Must have a car, valid driver's license and pass a criminal background check
  • Education: Masters Degree
  • Experience Required: At least 3 yrs.
  • Current driver's license with a good driving record of at least three years. 
  • Vehicle with current insurance and registration
