Job Type/Status: Full-Time 

POSITION SUMMARY:

Supervises the Keeping Families Together program designed to provide housing and support to at risk children and their families.  Responsible for smooth operation of program, all reports, employee issues and maintaining relationships with community providers

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Is directly responsible for and accessible to staff and families 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.

  • Consistently delivers their best, compassionate and creative self for the families and co-workers. 

  • Is responsible for the effective and smooth running of a complex system and is acutely aware of and responsive to the staff's and families' needs.

  • Provides regular individual and group staff supervision.

  • Seeks regular feedback from families and staff to ensure positive program development.

  • Ensures that staff and families work as a TEAM.

  • Ensures program meets contracted level of service.

  • Conducts regular quality assurance drills and client satisfaction surveys to constantly improve services and their delivery as perceived by the families.

  • Attends all funder meetings as required and responsible for contract renewals.

  • Manages the clinical and administrative operations of the KFT Program.

  • Works cooperatively with staff from CP&P and other community agencies, especially regarding case management issues.

  • Participates in on-going training provided by DCF, CP&P and CSH.

  • Conducts follow-ups of families every six months to determine success of KFT intervention. 

  • Provides CCHP with all required data for evaluation of outcomes.

  • Provides quarterly reports to CFS administration and the funding source(s).

  • Program Director will meet every other week with the AVP for professional and program supervision, and with the funding source(s) as required


REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Master's in social work or equivalent degree 

  • At least five years managerial experience

  • At least ten years of experience working with program population
