Job Type/Status: Full-Time

Salary: $90,000 to $95,000 per year

Position Summary:

The Associate Vice President of Substance will coordinate programming activities with appropriate liaison agencies to ensure constructive collaboration. as ambassadors to the community and funders, develop and promote relationships with other social service agencies and represent the program and agency in the community. They are expected to attend conferences, meetings and other community events that may occur outside normal business hours. Attend to all tasks that may occur outside of normal business hours in order to ensure agency and program success and to meet deadlines, act as Administrator Designee in the absence of the VP, Behavioral Health

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Regularly scheduled meetings with program staff to discuss plans, address areas of potential problems and program functioning.
  • Works collaboratively with Leadership Council and other CFS staff to ensure program levels of service are met and prioritizes interagency referrals,
  • Demonstrate knowledge of surrounding community challenges and best practice research-oriented solutions and the ability to utilize this knowledge to affect changes in the lives of families
  • Reviews and completes administrative documents such as reports, grants, contracts and budgets and uses this information regularly for effective program management.
  • Oversees Recovery Support Centers, Reconnections, STAR. Lifeline/OORP, IMATI (Salem MAT) and Recovery Corps programs including monitoring contracted levels of service completion of required documentation and record maintenance. Will oversee any new programs that fall under community and recovery based services
  • Provides administrative supervision to senior program directors, program directors and supervisors in above programs and maintains documentation of relevant supervisory issues
  • Works with appropriate Finance staff and getting appropriate financial information agency managers

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a BA and 5 years' experience in a substance use disorder treatment facility
    • Ideally a Master's degree and 2 years' experience in a substance use disorder treatment facility
  • At least 8 years of progressive-related experience
  • Demonstrates progressive knowledge and experience in their program content area
  • Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License in the state of his/her residence if driving any personal or agency vehicle.
