Duties and Responsibilities:
Compliant with funding source, contract and or program's Annex A
Complete required documentation within established timeframes per Federal, State, County, and agency regulations, policy and procedure
Provide competent, direct clinical services for individuals with co-occurring (mental health and substance use) children, adolescents and families through a variety of modalities such as individual, group, and family therapy.
Provide comprehensive clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment appropriate to psychiatric recommendations and members presenting concerns regardless of race, gender, culture, or ethnicity.
Develop, review, and maintain treatment plans that includes long term goals, short-term objectives, and interventions
Participates in regular clinical supervision in accordance with the guidelines of his/her professional organization; take responsibility with maintaining professional license; obtain advanced license, participate in staff professional development trainings and workshops as mandated/required
Utilize interventions based on systemic, behavioral and cognitive modalities and collaboratively develop individual and family service plans and goals which are behaviorally specific with the family
Provide crisis intervention as needed
Develop a transition plan with individuals/families to assist with termination and ensure linkage to ongoing support
Willingness to utilize clinical supervision to promote independent decision-making and enhance system collaboration within a multidisciplinary team
Complete required NJSAMS documentation in a timely basis in accordance with program protocol
Complete all documentation in electronic health record on a timely basis as per program protocol
Coordinate treatment planning with DCP&P, schools, the Prosecutor's Office, Probation, Parole, IDRC, SAI/BHI and other relevant agencies and services
Complete reports to be submitted to DCP&P, the Court, the Prosecutor's Office, Probation, Parole and IDRC on a timely basis
Complete evaluations and treatment progress notes in accordance with agency policies.
Meet with supervisor and clinical supervisor on a regular basis
Stays familiar with community resources including 12-step and other recovery-oriented meetings and refer clients as indicated
Become familiar with community resources
Become familiar with all agency programs for proper referrals
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Master's Degree in related human services field
Clinical Licensure as a social worker or licensed professional counselor or possess an equivalent license from an accredited board
Knowledge, training and application of evidence-based treatment
Knowledge and application in the area of family systems and Trauma Informed Care
Minimum one year direct clinical experience, providing psychotherapy within a behavioral health setting
