Job Type/Status: Fee for Service

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists with the admission process on new client admissions and orientation procedures and schedules.
  • Records Inventory log of all personal belongings, valuables and return ticket. Ticket and valuables to be kept in the safe.
  • Co-facilitate all orientation groups and daily living skills groups.
  • Know where clients are at all times.
  • Exercise sound professional judgment and seek assistance as necessary to effectively manage client behavior.
  • Utilize de-escalation techniques as appropriate.
  • Provides supervision of meals.
  • Participate in required staff trainings and staff meetings as scheduled.
  • Supervise clients completing the Program with emphasis on client safety and well-being.
  • Remind clients of program rules and regulations as necessary and report infractions.
  • Provide emotional support for clients while referring them to clinical staff to deal with clinical issues.
  • Complete all assigned paperwork in a neat, accurate and timely manner.
  • Complete incident reports according to policy in a timely, accurate manner.
  • Communicate with other staff as necessary to promote quality client care.
  • Exercise sound professional judgment and seek assistance as necessary to effectively manage client behavior.
  • Follows all company policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Graduate/GED required
  • Behavioral Health Technician Certification
  • At least three years' experience working with individuals in a behavioral health setting
  • Current driver's license with a good driving record of at least three years
  • English-Spanish bilingual and lived experience preferred
