Position Summary: 

The Case Aide assists case managers in providing services to clients by gathering, organizing, and  maintaining case documentation and client records. -The role requires strong organizational,  communication, and interpersonal skills, along with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and  complying with all legal and ethical guidelines.

Job Type/Status: Full-Time

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists lead case managers and case managers with shelter residents. 

  • Conduct both binder and portal audits for the minors in the assigned shelters the case aide is  covering and other shelters as needed. Audits to be conducted within seven days of the minor's  arrival. 

  • Conduct safety and well-being follow-up calls to a UC and sponsor 30 days after the UC is  released. 

  • Attend training as needed/as required to improve and maintain clinical and crisis intervention  skills. 

  • Maintain records of staff meetings both weekly pre-staffing and weekly staffing with our case  coordinators and FFS. 

  • Assist with record request from UC Records Specialist and ensure requests are completed in a  timely manner 

  • Ensure emergency contact list are updated and provided to assigned shelters POC

  • Assist in maintaining 24-hour case management coverage and provides rotating on call  emergency coverage as needed. 

  • Open and distribute mail 

  • Ensure trackers are being completed and updated as needed which includes but not limited to the  KYR and flight tracker 

  • Available to provide any additional support including ratio coverage in shelters assigned and not  assigned as needed 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of High School diploma or GED. Preferred Bachelor's degree in Administrative Assistant, Social Work, or related field. 

  • Two or more years of experience working in an administrative support capacity 3. Bi-lingual language fluency in both English and Spanish 

  • Excellent Driving skills and clean driving record 

  • Be a licensed driver for at least 3 years
