Position Summary:

Center for Family Services is seeking an experienced individual for the Full Time Clinical Supervisor within its Child Protection Substance Abuse Initiative.  CPSAI's top priority is the safety and well-being of children. By treating the alcohol/drug problems of the caregivers, we help provide a more secure environment for children. The CADC/LCADC is needed to conduct assessments in the DCP&P office, assists with case management, coordinate treatment with DCP&P staff, and participate in getting clients into the appropriate level of care.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

The Clinical Supervisor coordinates early entry into treatment and case manages DCP&P referred clients.  Weekly supervision, review of assessments and referrals. Attend DCP&P Meetings and staff development. This individual ensures all client information is reported to DCP&P Caseworker, coordinates required services for the Counselor Aide(s), acts as a liaison with local treatment providers, and completes filing of all necessary reports.  This individual is able to identify problems, collect data and draw conclusions. Provides clients with transportation, communication, access to assessment appointments, and case management. This position also supervises the peer recovery support specialist program in 4 locations. The peer program provides support to parents and caregivers as they manage their way through early recovery. 

Requirements: 

  • Master's Degree required
  • Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC/LCADC), LPC, LCSW, CCS, ACS required
  • Previous experience in the substance use disorder field preferred, at least 3 years
  • 1 year supervisory experience
  • Current driver's license with a good driving record of at least three years Vehicle with current insurance and registration
