Position Summary:

Center For Family Services is seeking a Clinical Supervisor for It's Morris County Outpatient Program.   The Outpatient Counseling program provides individual, family, and group counseling to children, adolescents, adults, and families to address personal conflicts, relationship problems and face life's challenges. Counseling is provided to adults and children age 5 and older.  The Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for providing weekly supervision to clinicians, identifying needs, training, conducting staff evaluations, and ensuring compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Embrace and demonstrate the mission, philosophy and values of Center for Family Services.
  • Provide weekly clinical group supervision to clinicians. 
  • Identifies needs and provides ongoing staff training in a variety of clinical modalities (e.g., family systems, behavioral, cognitive, etc).
  • Ensure compliance with directives from supervisors.
  • Monitors case progress toward goal achievement.
  • Practice sound clinical and administrative judgment and provide guidance to staff accordingly.
  • Conduct regular staff evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, counseling, psychology, psychiatric nursing, criminal justice, special education) and a minimum of two years post Master's related supervisory experience in the social services field.
  • Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker plus 3 years and 20 hour clinical supervision course. 
  • Experience with crisis intervention. 
  • Must be energetic, creative, and able to work as part of a community resource team, and be culturally competent and responsive.
  • Must have a car, valid driver's license and pass a criminal background check.
