Position Summary:
This dual program clinical position is for the Family Stabilization Program (FSP) and the Family Crisis Intervention unit Program (FCIU). The clinician will split their time between both programs (80% FSP and 20% FCIU) by providing therapeutic services to children and their families live in Morris County. Morris County Family Stabilization Program (FSP) collaborates exclusively with DCP&P involved families to provide family and individual therapy for a period of 9-12 months or as long as DCP&P is open with the family. All biological and/or resource parent homes have experienced child abuse/neglect, trauma, adoption, and attachment presenting concerns and are recommended to FSP for long-term therapy. The Morris County Family Crisis Intervention Unit (FCIU) program is a short term, 8-12 week program providing crisis counseling services to families with youth between the ages of 11-17.

Duties and Responsibilities:
FSP/FCIU Clinician must be able to provide services to both English and Spanish Speaking families and must be proficient in speaking, reading and writing in Spanish. Staff member will hold a case load based on contractual requirements, and is responsible for meeting with families weekly, depending on their individual needs. FSP/FCIU clinician will also be responsible for facilitating quarterly psychoeducational diversionary workshops. FSP/FCIU clinician is responsible for maintaining documentation according to program expectations for all assigned families. FSP/FCIU clinician must be able to travel throughout Morris County as needed. On-call responsibilities on a rotation basis are also part of this position. Many of the sessions take place in the homes of Morris County families as a result of no transportation or clinical recommendations for in-home services. FSP Clinician is responsible to collaborate with DCP&P and other community partners and collaterals to provide a strength- based, system-focused service to all FSP involved families.
