Salary: $62,000 annually

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Compliant with funding source, contract and or program's Annex A
  • Complete required documentation within established timeframes per Federal, State, County, and agency regulations, policy and procedure
  • Provides individual, group, and family counseling sessions to adolescents with mental health disorders in addition to substance use disorders.
  • Provide competent, direct clinical services with adolescents and families through a variety of modalities such as individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Provide comprehensive clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment appropriate to psychiatric recommendations and members presenting concerns regardless of race, gender, culture, or ethnicity.
  • Utilize interventions based on systemic, behavioral and cognitive modalities of Collaboratively develop individual and family service plans and goals which are behaviorally specific with the family.
  • Coordinates treatment and discharge planning with other referral, collaborative and after care service provider entities, family members as needed, and Center for Family Services.
  • Works with the Senior Director of Substance Use and Peer Services (ADS) Vice President to develops new, evidenced-based substance use and mental health programming (IOP, outpatient groups and individual therapy) at both the Phillipsburg and Washington locations.
  • Maintains a minimum of 70% face-to-face client contact/productivity, each week, which is tracked monthly by the agency's data analyst.
  • Develops comprehensive holistic assessments of adolescent clients with secondary mental health diagnosis and involve family members/stakeholders as indicated.
  • Creates individual and family focused treatment plans which are goal directed and involve family members as indicated.
  • Coordinate treatment with other Center for Family Services and DCP&P, schools, the Prosecutor's Office, Probation, and other relevant agencies and services.
  • Complete evaluations and treatment progress notes in accordance with agency policies and in a time-sensitive manner.
  • Complete reports to be submitted to DCP&P, the Court, the Prosecutor's Office, Probation, on a timely basis.
  • Meet with supervisor on a regular basis and actively participate in regularly scheduled department meetings and attends scheduled administrative/clinical meetings.
  • Be familiar with community resources including 12-step meetings, other self-help groups, and refer clients as indicated.
  • Participates in program and center performance improvement activities and takes responsibility for professional development and meeting licensure requirements for maintaining credentials through attendance at relevant workshops and seminars.
  • Educate clients on the relationship between drug and alcohol abuse and risk factors for the contraction of communicable diseases.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in related human services field
  • LSW, LAC, LCSW, or LPC or posses an equivalent license from an accredited board
  • Knowledge, training and application of evidence-based treatment
  • Knowledge and application in the area of family systems and Trauma Informed Care
  • Minimum two years direct clinical experience, providing psychotherapy within a behavioral health setting
