Position Summary:  

Center For Family Services is seeking an experienced individual for the Substance Use Counselor position in our Family First Program.  Family First is an intensive outpatient program providing a personal support plan for recovery and relapse prevention for women. The program helps women experiencing problems with drugs and alcohol find the support they need to get their lives back on track. The Substance Use Counselor will conduct assessments, facilitate groups and individual sessions, provide case management and reports to referral sources for this daytime program. The counselor is expected to be familiar with evidenced-based treatments and the principles of trauma informed care. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Clinician will conduct assessments, facilitate groups and individual sessions, provide case management and reports to referral sources for this day program. The clinician is expected to be familiar with evidenced-based treatments and the principles of trauma informed care. The Clinician is a key member of the Family First team. Schedule is Mon-Fri 8:30-4PM. 

Requirements: 

• Master's Degree Required
• License Required (LSW, LPC, LCSW, LAC, LMFT, and or LCADC)
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a substance abuse field
• Experience with co-occurring population preferred
• Current driver's license with a good driving record of at least three years
• Vehicle with current insurance and registration
