Position Summary:

Center For Family Services is seeking an organized, caring individual to join our Baby's Best Program as a Family Support Specialist. The Family Support Specialist will provide assistance and guidance to families in the program, follow up calls and connect them to community resources of support. This is a part time position.

Location: East Orange, New Jersey

Job Status: Part Time

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Works directly with families in the program to ensure their needs are met, family goals are reached, and to reinforce lessons learned in the Saturday classes. 
• Provides case management services. Completes home visits with families to program participants. 
• Make friendly follow-up phone calls to program graduates. 
• Links families to supportive services that help stabilize 
• Up to 75% travel is required with mileage reimbursement. 

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree required
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• At least two years of experience working with the program population required 
• Experience Preferred: At least two years of experience working with the program population 
• Excellent driving skills and current driver's license with a driving record of at least three years
• A vehicle with current insurance and registration
