POSITION SUMMARY:
This HR generalist position is a multifaceted professional responsible for supporting all aspects of the employee lifecycle within an organization, including recruitment initiatives, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, leaves of absences, personnel file management, and other supportive duties in HR. This position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills to maintain a positive employee experience and support company goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities of an HR generalist may include:
· Recruitment and hiring:
Posting job openings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and participating in the hiring process.
· Onboarding and orientation:
Assisting and supporting the new employee through the onboarding process.
· Benefits administration:
Enrolling employees in benefits plans, answering questions about benefits, and managing changes to coverage.
· Compliance:
Ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws, including maintaining employee records and conducting required trainings.
· Internal communications:
Providing programs and departments with updates regarding HR related activity.
· Employee data management:
Maintaining accurate employee records and updating HR systems.
Open and distribute mail.
Participate in required staff training and staff meetings as scheduled.
Take responsibility for professional development through attendance at relevant workshops and seminars.
Participate in Center and Program performance improvement activities
Follow all company policies and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree or its equivalence with experience in Human Resources
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with employees and managers
Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to address complex employee issues
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
Proficiency with HR software and systems
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities
2 years Human Resources experience.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
