Location: Voorhees, NJ
Status: Full-Time
Salary:
$70,000 -$80,000 per year

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure the continuing training and development of department staff.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with department staff
  • Conduct employee evaluations annually
  • Orient new support technicians to role
  • Provide weekly team supervision meetings
  • Supervise support technicians
  • Meet with support technicians monthly individually
  • Manage overall support operations
  • Recruit, interview, and recommend job candidates for hire
  • Provide training on new technologies to support staff
  • Monitor tickets to ensure timely resolution of support issues
  • Manage IT Department software like Freshservice, Adobe, Grammarly, etc
  • Personally handle Level 3 and more complex tickets
  • Document complex procedures
  • Develop and document best practice procedures for daily operations as related to IT support
  • Administration of key IT portals like Google Workspace, Comcast VOIP, etc
  • Establish good relationships with all departments and colleagues
  • Manage technical documentation of work performed
  • Perform other ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years' experience in Windows computer support, computer systems and maintenance
  • Experience with supporting Microsoft Windows 7-10 and Windows Server 2008-2019
  • Solid networking knowledge and experience
  • High level knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Ability to lift 50 Pounds
  • Must have valid NJ Driver's License
    • Must have clean driving record
    • Job requires approximately 25% local travel
  • 2 plus years' experience as a Team Lead in an IT support department
  • Plus level troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
