Summary:

Center For Family Services is seeking an experienced bilingual mental health professional for the Lead Clinician position within our Juntos Program. This is a full time position in a quickly growing organization that positively influences children and teens. The Clinician is a motivated, culturally sensitive individual who is dedicated to the care of international children living in the United States. The Lead Clinician will be a key member of the Juntos treatment team. They will facilitate coordination between all disciplines within the facility. This individual will recruit, train, and provide structured and unstructured clinical supervision of therapy, education, case management, adjunct, and ancillary services.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating clinical services, train new clinicians, and supervise clinical staff.
  • Displays consistent ethical behavior and sound judgment.
  • Demonstrates a basic knowledge of CFS' continuum of services and provides appropriate referral when applicable and needed.
  • Interacts and works with children, adults, and families served, as well as colleagues, and/or community members in a non-biased, inclusive, and respectful way regardless of cultural differences and circumstances.
  • Appropriately utilizes supervision process and Agency support in order to best execute assignments, duties, and responsibilities.
  • Demonstrates dependability, responsibility, and self-accountability in meeting position expectations.
  • Responsible for personal and collective safety of the organization by displaying consistent mindfulness as well as identifying and reporting safety issues and violations.
  • Strong commitment to personal and collective professional development.

Requirements:

  • Master's in Psychology, Sociology, or other relevant behavioral science in which clinical experience is a program requirement, with 3 years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience. Must have supervisory experience and be licensed to provide clinical services in the state of NJ state.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience working with the program population or relevant direct service delivery, along with experience in individual, group, and family therapy for youth and families, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Experience with individual, group, and family therapy for youth and families, preferably in a residential setting
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
  • Current driver's license with a good driving record of at least three years
  • Vehicle with current insurance and registration
