Outreach Coordinator - Recovery Center (5151)

Location: Gloucester County, NJ

Job Type/Status: Full-Time

Salary: $23.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • At least 1 external/internal outreach presentation per week (arrive 15 minutes before each outreach if no setup required)
  • At least 1 event/resource table per month (arrive 1/2 hour before the start to set up, stay until the end)
  • Provide referral information to ACCESS and other programs as needed at outreach/presentations
  • Keep all 3 Recovery Coaches marketing materials inventoried and stocked with the support of the Center for Family Services' public relations department 
  • Social media content management for all 3 locations
  • Manage and schedule any presentations done at the LPRCs by all outside agencies
  • Act as a community liaison
  • Create and distribute flyers for any LPRC events for all 3 LPRC locations
  • Create, distribute and upload Calendars to the Center for Family Services website
  • Brainstorm methods for engagement with the local recovery community
  • Establish and maintain contact with community groups and organizations
  • Maintain LPRCs outreach document on Recovery Center shared drive
  • Provide weekly outreach/presentation outcome report to supervisor
  • Work with all Recovery Coaches Program Coordinators

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Associate's Degree, CPRS required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of outreach experience required, 
  • 1-2 years of peer recovery support experience preferred
  • Must have been a licensed driver for at least three years.
  • Must pass an initial and ongoing motor vehicle record check evaluations.
  • Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License in the state of his/her residence.
  • If required to drive a personal vehicle for work purposes:
    • Employee must have access to a vehicle when needed
    • Vehicle(s) must be appropriately registered by the state
    • Must have and maintain automobile insurance
