Job Type/Status: Part-Time

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The Outreach coordinator will perform public speaking and outreach to advertise services. 
  • The Outreach Coordinator must possess the knowledge, skills and experience necessary to competently perform activities. 
  • Create a list of providers for outreach presentation opportunities 
  • Schedule outreach presentations 
  • Follow up on all outreach opportunities and maintain resource information 
  • Coordinate outreach participation of peer volunteers 
  • Develop quarterly outreach plan 
  • Help gather data for quarterly report 
  • Support and grow special events for CPRC 
  • Help create quarterly newsletter 
  • Participate in meetings and events as directed by Senior Peer Services Coordinator 
  • Maintain social media page(s) with relevant information and events
  • Attend regularly scheduled supervisions, stakeholder meetings, community board meetings, and other programmatic meetings as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma, GED
  • NCPRSS or CPRS
  • Two years of Personal Recovery, compassion for others in recovery, public speaking skills, pleasant demeanor, time management and organizational skills
  • Must have been a licensed driver for at least three years. 
  • Must pass an initial and ongoing motor vehicle record check evaluations. 
  • Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License in the state of his/her residence.
