POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide direct supervision hours and administrative oversight of program and staff within the Opioid Overdose Recovery Program (Lifeline), to include monitoring of program compliance to all Federal, State, County, and Opioid Overdose Recovery Program regulations, policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicate regularly with the DMHAS OORP Coordinator/State Opioid Treatment Authority; 

  • Supervise program staff, navigators and peers, via monthly meetings with all Lifeline staff, individual supervision, and weekly telephone or face-to-face(preferred) contact of 15-minute duration minimally for all Peer staff; 

  • Assure program compliance with Federal, State, County, and accreditation criteria;

  • Direct, monitor, and evaluate program services utilizing individual, group and documentation supervision to achieve high quality outcomes;

  • Implement standardized quality improvement measures in accordance with the agency-wide quality improvement goals;

  • Implement an integrate program evaluation system of Peers and Navigators utilizing documentation and reporting in AWARDS (electronic health record) and other written documentation to monitor accurate documentation of services provided, utilization and outcomes;

  • Work in collaboration with all eligible CFS programs and external referral sources to facilitate an effective and timely referral process; 

  • Collaborate with HR to address program staffing needs, recruitment, retention, disciplinary, and tracking of all mandatory requirements such as yearly flu vaccinations for all staff within approved agency guidelines; 

  • Coordinate volunteers and interns;

  • Assess and promote staff development;

  • Participate in designated agency-wide committees and meetings;

  • Ensure that services are delivered in a culturally competent and linguistic manner;

  • Improve the scope and capacity of the delivery system in order to ensure program sustainability;

  • Approve bi-weekly timesheets, complete daily/weekly checks in E3 and updating Google calendar of staff availability;

  • Work to ensure that hospitals are appropriately staffed and the bi-weekly schedule is completed, accurate, and emailed to all staff the Friday before the start of the new payroll. This also includes assisting Peer staff in covering their vacations, sick & personal days and call outs;

  • Upload all staff documentation including weekly check-in forms, supervision forms, disciplinary documentation, and all signed documentation into the shared supervisor drive;

  • Establish and maintain a professional working relationship with all hospital staff in both Camden and Gloucester County;

  • Complete monthly tours at varying days and times of all hospitals in both Camden and Gloucester County to maintain CFS and supervision visibility.


REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Master's level degree in Human Services: Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or a related field

  • Minimum two years program experience within a behavioral health setting 

  • Minimum two years supervision experience 

  • Proven ability to develop and sustain internal and external professional relationships 

  • Proven ability to drive initiatives

  • The Program Supervisor shall demonstrate evidence of working with individuals with substance use disorders and/or evidence of addiction coursework. Knowledge and experience in full complement of evidence-based and administrative practice to include Trauma Informed Care Principles

  • Proven ability to constructively manage conflict and solve problems

  • Knowledge and competency in utilization of an Electronic Health Record (AWARDS)

  • Exemplary writing, verbal, and communication skills

  • Valid driver's license
