POSITION SUMMARY:

The Residential Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and management of direct services staff.  Residential Supervisor reports directly to the Program Director.

Location: Gloucester County, NJ

Job Type/Status: Full-Time

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support staff and document to ensure that quality services are provided. Facilitate team building meeting and provide training.

  • Responsible for the day to day operations of the facility. Manage the facility assisting staff and residents with safety precautions. 

  • Update policy and procedure manual and emergency binder

  • Complete reports and funding/grant request as required.  Ensure statistical data is collected. 

  • Monitor and review all client files to insure all documentation, notes and forms are complete

  • 24-Hour back up support for emergencies - rotating on call schedule

  • Collaborate with community service providers.

  • Interview potential employees and assist in training to new and existing staff and volunteers as needed.  Maintain staff schedule to ensure safe house coverage 24/7.

  • Ensure upkeep of facility and supplies are available. 

  • Response to calls/emails prioritizing daily.

  • Maintenance your activity calendar

  • Maintains an active role in community memberships, establish new relationships and attend meetings

  • Monitor and evaluate current program as well as help develop, implement and evaluate new services for the program.

  • Assist with office procedures pertinent to the operation of the program.


REQUIREMENTS: 

The Residential Supervisor or must successfully complete 60 hour New Jersey State Confidential Sexual Violence Advocate and Domestic Violence Training provided by Services Empowering Rights of Victims (SERV).  The Residential Supervisor will have experience working with individuals and groups and demonstrate sensitivity toward the needs of the population.  The residential supervisor will be able to work collaboratively with other programs, governmental agencies, service organizations and funding sources.  A BA is required.   This position also requires experience in residential, management and supervision.
