POSITION SUMMARY:

Center For Family Services is seeking an experienced and professional Vice President for Human Resources.  Under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer, the Vice President of Human Resources is responsible for leading the agency's Human Resources and Talent Acquisitions program and initiatives.  The VP of HR provides customer service support to internal and external customers; manages the Human Resources Department functions and management of information throughout the staff lifecycle at CFS and manages/maintains HRIS system, ATS system, EPM system and any applicable other systems and utilizes them to improve Agency.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct supervision to the Sr. Direct of HR and the Manager of Talent Acquisition and Onboarding

  • Work collaboratively with the Chief Operating Officer, and other senior leaders to provide HR supportive services throughout the agency.  

  • Attend and participate in agency VP Council Meetings.

  • Develop, launch and implement new systems. 

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders at the organization, county, state and federal level to ensure that CFS fulfills its mission of expanding services to communities who need them.

  • Ensure daily direction and evaluation of employees and participate in the following processes along with Executive Leadership: hiring, employee counseling and terminations.

  • Comfortable leading professionals, at multiple levels, including BA level staff and Clinicians including LAC/LPC, LSW/LCSW.

  • Provide education and technical assistance to team members regarding all areas of the day-to-day operations of Human Resources. 

  • Ensure that relevant data is collected for contract monitoring, quality improvement, and other purposes as needed; ensure that data is used to improve services provided.

  • Ensure coordination and integration of HR services with other Center For Family Services programs and other community programs/agencies in a manner that benefits consumers served.

  • Complete all assigned paperwork in a neat, accurate and timely manner.

  • Participate in required staff training and staff meetings as scheduled.

  • Participate in Center and Program performance improvement activities.

  • Follow all company policies and procedures.


REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Master's degree in HR or related field.  Years of experience will be evaluated in lieu of education.   

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience working in Human Resources. 

  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.

  • Completion of a physical examination and completion of tests and vaccinations as required by funder
