Salary: $70,000 to $75,000 per year

Position Summary: 

CFS is seeking a full-time, experienced Clinical Supervisor who is passionate about ensuring quality support services for vulnerable children and their families. The Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating all family and community programs, services, and activity events within the Camden County Student Support Services continuum of solutions. This individual will oversee the program operation of the Lead Licensed Clinician, Licensed Clinicians, Licensed Clinical Drug and Alcohol Counselor (LCADC), and use data to identify gaps in services, inform quality improvement, and provide family and community support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Clinical Oversight and Supervision

  • Oversee all administrative aspects of Tier 3 service delivery, including clinical supervision, coaching, and support for the clinical team.
  • Lead weekly case conferences and provide clinical oversight to the Tier 3 team.
  • Guide the clinical team's response to student crises and ensure all protocols are followed.
  • Ensure clinicians meet the required face-to-face contact expectations with assigned clients.
  • Monitor and ensure Tier 3 team performance meets all key indicators and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular audits of clinical documentation to ensure compliance with agency, state, and federal standards.
  • Carry a limited caseload when necessary to support service continuity and team capacity.

Referral and Case Management

  • Manage and assign Tier 3 clinical referrals, including conducting consultations with school personnel.
  • Oversee completion, updates, and timely closure of all incident reports related to Tier 3 services.
  • Analyze clinical trends and identify community issues impacting service delivery and client needs.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement strategic improvements to Tier 3 services.

Training and Professional Development

  • Oversee and coordinate the implementation of comprehensive clinical training for NJ4S staff.
  • Facilitate onboarding, training, and ongoing development opportunities for new and current clinicians.
  • Maintain professional growth by attending trainings, workshops, and conferences relevant to clinical practice and leadership.

Community Partnerships and Collaboration

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners focused on education, mental health, and substance use.
  • Collaborate with external sources to develop or enhance services directly supporting student and family needs (e.g., anger management, relationship support, life transitions).
  • Serve as the primary liaison for clinical matters with school districts, staff, and external partners.
  • Participate in meetings and discussions with other School-Based Hubs as needed.

Operations and Reporting

  • Manage the clinical client assistance budget and ensure resources align with program goals.
  • Analyze clinical and service data and prepare reports for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Support staff morale and promote team cohesion through regular check-ins and visible leadership presence.

Requirements: 

  • Professionals with relevant licensure are required; independent licenses. Practitioners must be licensed as one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC). 
  • 4+ years' experience as a counselor/therapist for at-risk individuals, particularly school-aged children, including experience developing, implementing, monitoring and measuring the effectiveness of counseling, case management, and related programs. 
  • Experience completing assessments and providing brief individualized clinical interventions to youth and families is required. 
  • Preference for clinicians with previous training in Motivational Interviewing, those who are not trained in Motivational Interviewing must be trained within sixty (60) days of hire. 
  • Must be able to develop successful and trusting relationships with individuals and families, create and sustain an environment that supports these relationships.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
