Job Type/Status: Full Time 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Compliant with funding source, contract and or program's Annex A
  • Complete required documentation within established timeframes per Federal, State, County, and agency regulations, policy and procedure
  • Core Responsibilities for Job Role/Sector:
    • Provide competent, direct clinical services with adults and families through a variety of modalities such as assessment, individual, group, and family therapy.
    • Provide comprehensive clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment appropriate to psychiatric recommendations and members presenting concerns regardless of race, gender, culture, or ethnicity.
    • Develops a treatment plan that includes long term goals, short-term objectives, and interventions.
    • Participates in regular clinical supervision in accordance with the guidelines of his/her professional organization; take responsibility with maintaining professional license; obtain advanced license, participate in staff professional development trainings and workshops as mandated/required.
    • Utilize interventions based on systemic, behavioral and cognitive modalities of collaboratively develop individual and family service plans and goals which are behaviorally specific with the family.
    • Provide crisis intervention as needed.
    • Develop a transition plan with individuals/families to assist with termination and ensure linkage to ongoing support.
    • Willingness to utilize clinical supervision to promote independent decision-making and enhance system collaboration within a multidisciplinary team. 

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling or related counseling field
  • Clinical Licensure as a social worker or licensed professional counselor or possess an equivalent license from an accredited board
  • Knowledge, training and application of evidence-based treatment.
  • Knowledge and application in the area of family systems and Trauma Informed Care
  • Minimum two years direct clinical experience, providing psychotherapy and clinical biopsychosocial assessments  within a behavioral health setting.
