Job Type/Status: Full Time
Salary: $52,000 to $58,000 per year
Position Summary:
Mobile Response and Stabilization Services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to help children and youth up to 21 years of age who are experiencing emotional or behavioral crisis. The services are designed to defuse an immediate crisis, keep children and their families safe, and maintain the children in their own homes or current living situation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Comply with MRSS funding source, contract and program's Annex A
- Complete required documentation within established timeframes per Federal, State, County, and agency regulations, policy and procedure
- Maintain a caseload as per program requirements.
- Collaboratively develop youth's Individualized Crisis Plans.
- Provide 24/7 emergency crisis response on a rotation basis.
- Respond to crisis calls within 1 hour and provide crisis intervention.
- Provide case management services by coordinating services to meet the needs of the youth and family.
- Attend school meetings and court hearings as needed.
- Assist team leads in training as needed both in field and in the office
- Develop a transition plan with families to assist with termination and ensure linkage to ongoing support.
- Attend and participate in individual and team supervision as well as any required internal/external meetings as determined by the Program Coordinator, Assistant Director or Director.
- Complete all necessary paperwork in a thorough, timely and professional manner as per program timeframes.
- Coordinate and/or participate in collateral meetings.
- Maintain timely and relevant communication with all involved parties weekly.
- Document all contact within 24 hours in EHR systems - CYBER/Awards.
- Complete all required trainings through CFS and CSOC
- Maintain yearly CAT certification
Job Requirements (Qualifications):
- Possess a bachelor's degree in a behavioral health or related human services field, such as social work, counseling or psychology and have a minimum of one year related field work experience; or
- Possess a master's degree in a behavioral health or related human services field.
- Experience with community relations and crisis intervention.
- Must be energetic, creative, and able to work as part of a community resource team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and assessment skills.
- Excellent writing skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for up to: 7 hours per day or as needed by the program
- Ability to lift up to: 50 pounds
- Ability to drive to visit youth and families in home for an initial dispatch, follow up visit and/or termination visit. Also, at times may need to deliver donations and Flex Funds as needed to family's homes.
- Must have a car and a valid driver's license
