Instructor - Baby's Best Start (833)

Location: Camden, NJ

Job Type/Status: Fee-for-Services

POSITION SUMMARY:

Center for Family Services is seeking a creative and patient classroom Instructor for our Baby's Best Start program.  Baby's Best Start is a nine week program that works together with parents and family members to ensure babies get off to the best possible start. Program sessions are on Thursdays from 4pm-7:30pm. After the completion of the program, staff will continue follow up with the family through regular home visits and phone calls on a monthly basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for running 150 minute session for parent participants
  • Responsible for providing classroom instruction during each session
  • Completing Participant and Volunteer Satisfaction Surveys
  • Collecting the data and statistics from surveys and completing reports for required funding source
  • Completing educational activities and lessons with parents during the group session

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's Degree required 
  • Experience working with children and families
  • Public speaking and presentation skills a plus 
  • Current driver's license with a good driving record of at least three years

  • Vehicle with current insurance and registration
