Salary: $25 to $26 per hour

Position Summary:

Center for Family Services is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Associate with knowledge of reporting, collection, billing, and accounts receivable process. This individual will monitor client account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities. The Accounts Receivable Associate communicates with customers, Budget Analysts and Program Directors and Supervisors on a regular basis, analyzes and implements processes of developing and monitoring collection of receivables and provides outstanding customer service in all agency interactions and has outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be able to conduct billing, collection, and reporting activities according to deadlines.
• Must be able to analyze customer accounts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain Accounts receivable customer files and records.
• Follow established procedures for processing checks, electronic payments, cash, etc.
• Prepare bank deposits.
• Develop a recovery system and initiate collection efforts.
• Must be highly organized.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Must be able to work independently and ready to take charge of accounts receivables process.
• Must be able to follow accounts receivables policy before processing.
• Must be able to communicate with supervisors all discrepancies.
• Ability to resolve accounts receivables related issues.
• Very courteous when communicating with staff.
• Must work under fast paced working environment.
• Must be able to manage multiple jobs.
• Must be a team player and be able to support the department.
• Must be able to work with department on special projects and ad hoc assignments.

Requirements:

• High School Degree is required. Associate degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.
• At least 2-5 years of Accounts Receivables processing experience required.
• Advance knowledge of computer and MS Office software is highly desirable.
• This position is on-site from 9 am-5 pm Monday-Friday in our Voorhees, NJ office.
• Excellent driving skills and current driver's license with a driving record of at least three years
• Vehicle with current insurance and registration
