Center For Family Services is seeking an experienced and organized Senior Residential Counselor to join our Benson House Program. This position requires providing program management including supervision of staff in carrying out direct service activities pertinent to the goals of the program. It also requires assessments for groups and performing administrative functions.
Location: Camden County, New Jersey
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Residential Counselor provides administrative supervision of each shift of residential counselors, day, evening and weekend as well as assists residential counselors in providing life skills education. They co-lead groups with therapists and counselors and ensure that program structure is consistent with stated goals and objectives. The Senior Residential Counselor coordinates program activities with appropriate liaison agencies to ensure constructive collaboration as well as develops and promotes relationships with other social service agencies to represent the program and agency in the community. This individual ensures that daily living needs of youth are met through delegation of responsibilities to residential counseling staff. The Senior Residential Counselor provides supervision and structure for staff and youth ages 13-17 years old. The Senior Residential Counselor must be willing to be available for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
