The bilingual Quality Improvement Trainer will develop and conduct trainings and file audits, aggregate and analyze program level data, monitor documentation and files to ensure compliance and quality improvement. This position will support all quality improvement aspects for the Juntos home study program, which supports family unification for immigrant children, family preservation, kinship care, and general child well-being.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct monthly file audits for the generation of monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance reports.
  • Aggregate and analyze program level data for further reporting purposes.
  • Monitor all documentation, files, and facilities to ensure compliance within the program.
  • Demonstrate a basic knowledge of CFS' continuum of services and provides appropriate referral when applicable and needed.
  • Develop and conduct trainings  to ensure ORR and CFS agency requirements are met.
  • Display consistent ethical behavior and sound judgment.
  • Appropriately utilizes supervision process and Agency support in order to best execute assignments, duties, and responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate dependability, responsibility, and self-accountability in meeting position expectations.
  • Responsible for personal and collective safety of the organization by displaying consistent mindfulness as  well as identifying and reporting safety issues and violations.
  • Attend all required staff meetings and trainings, program, and Center for Family Services activities.
  • Works in a professional manner with appropriate administrative staff in getting administrative information to agency managers.
  • Maintain program compliance with all funding and licensing procedures and requirements.
  • Discuss personal and professional staff issues, when necessary, only with appropriate individuals.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all areas of the service population and program operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.


  • Bachelor's degree in the Behavior Sciences, Human Services, or other relevant social services field.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English.

Working with the Juntos Home Study Program
Center For Family Services' Juntos Home Study program conducts the home study for sponsor families who are awaiting placement of children in need of a safe place to live. The home study ensures a safe, warm and caring temporary home for immigrant children while in the care of a sponsor until the child's family unification process is complete. Juntos Home Study services focus on the safety of each child and utilize Nurtured Heart, a trauma informed care approach, which emphasizes physical, psychological and emotional safety and helps children rebuild a sense of safety and control.
