Position Summary:

Clinical Supervisor, LCSW or possess an equivalent license from an accredited board plus three years post licensure, clinical supervision certification with excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, assessment, and writing skills to provide weekly individual and team supervision to clinicians and be available for on-call supervision and/or back up crisis to six clinicians for in-home treatment. Candidate must be energetic, creative, and able to work as part of a community resource team, and be culturally competent, and responsive, must have a car, valid driver's license and pass a criminal background check.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Embrace and demonstrate the mission, philosophy, and values of Center for Family Services.
  • Provide weekly individual and team supervision to clinicians and be available for on-call supervision and/or back up crisis supervision.
  • Identifies needs and provides ongoing staff training in a variety of clinical modalities (e.g., family systems, behavioral, cognitive, etc.).
  • Review clinical writing (progress notes, treatment plans, court letters, etc.) for feedback and approval.
  • Ensure compliance with directives from supervisors.
  • Monitors case progress toward goal achievement.
  • Coordinates and participates in case conferences/family team meetings.
  • Observes sessions via co-therapy, one-way mirror, video, and home visits to improve staff's clinical skills and to ensure service quality.
  • Practice sound clinical and administrative judgment and provide guidance to staff accordingly.
  • Effectively act as a liaison between staff and all levels of administration.
  • Make recommendations in hiring, disciplinary actions, promotion and termination in conjunction with human resources.
  • Conduct regular staff evaluations and oversee implementation of the annual Performance Review while providing staff with opportunities for leadership.
  • Attends and participates in agency/office meetings.
  • Maintains statistics to ensure the levels of service complies contractual expectations.
  • Ensures that all reports (required by program/service and Center for Family Services) are completed and submitted within designated timeframes.

Qualifications:

  • Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker or possess an equivalent license from an accredited board plus three years post licensure. 
  • Clinical supervision certification.
  • Experience with community relations and crisis intervention. 
  • Must be energetic, creative, and able to work as part of a community resource team, and be culturally competent and responsive.
  • Must have a car, valid driver's license and pass a criminal background check.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and assessment skills.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office Suite proficient).
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
