Center for Family Services is seeking an experienced individual for a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor or Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor within its Child Protection Substance Abuse Initiative program. CPSAI's top priority is the safety and well-being of children. By treating the alcohol/drug problems of the caregivers, we help provide a more secure environment for children. The CADC/LCADC is needed to conduct assessments in the DCPP office, assists with case management, coordinate treatment with DCPP staff, and participate in getting clients into the appropriate level of care.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The CADC/LCADC coordinates early entry into treatment and case manages DCPP referred clients. This individual ensures all client information is reported to DCPP Caseworker, coordinates required services for the Counselor Aide(s), acts as a liaison with local treatment providers, and completes filing of all necessary reports. This individual is able to identify problems, collect data and draw conclusions as well as interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form. The CADC/LCADC provides clients with transportation, communication, access to assessment appointments, and case management.
