Program Supervisor - Star

Center for Family Services is seeking an experienced Licensed Supervisor position within its STAR Program. The Licensed Supervisor possesses the knowledge, skill and experience necessary to supervise program staff and to coordinate and monitor program services. The STAR Program develops an Integrated Family Case Plan that is person-centered and includes strategies for recovery, provides links to appropriate care and resources in the community, promotes the STAR individual's recovery to his/ her fullest potential by facilitating assessment of skills, and refers clients to help them access substance use disorder treatment if needed. 

Location: Camden and Gloucester, New Jersey

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Licensed Supervisor provides program management including supervision of staff in carrying out direct service activities to the goals of the program. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a program that uses engagement skills to motivate and encourage individuals to voluntarily access services that would assist them in maintaining a healthier lifestyle, advocates on behalf of the individual, provides education to clients on HIV and Hepatitis, and provides training to clients on the recognition of relapse triggers and strategies to deal with avoiding a relapse. The Licensed Supervisor must demonstrate evidence of working with SUD population. 


  • Master's Degree with LCSW or LPC or equivalent
  • Three years' experience working with high need individuals involved with substance use disorders
  • Current driver's license with a good driving record of at least three years 
  • Vehicle with current insurance and registration
