Location: Washington, NJ

Job Type/Status: Full Time

Salary: $55,000 to $60,000 per year

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate and complete Infant and Early Childhood Relational Health Training.
  • Gain general knowledge of substance use disorders and treatment modalities including Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT).
  • Participate and complete training in Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse;
  • Assist the Senior Director of Substance Use and Peer Services in planning, implementing and evaluating community education presentations.
  • Conduct community outreach for the following programs: Pathways to Recovery OP-SUD, SHE, HER IOP, ASA, Safe Passage IOP, and OFW. Outreach to include regular contact with schools, participation in community events, meetings with community agencies.
  • Develop SUD and Peer Program community education.
  • Obtain updates from programs to be shared with community stakeholders through regularly scheduled meetings.
  • Maintain adequate documentation of all community education activities;
  • Provide substance abuse prevention services to individuals/groups both professional and general community members.
  • Attend State, County and other stakeholder meetings as needed.
  • Adhere to all Center for Family Services, SUD Programs, Peer Programs and other relevant guidelines and regulations.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • High School Diploma, GED
    • NCPRSS or CPRS
    • Two years of Personal Recovery, compassion for others in recovery, public speaking skills, pleasant demeanor, time management and organizational skills
    • Must have been a licensed driver for at least three years.
    • Must pass an initial and ongoing motor vehicle record check evaluations.
    • Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License in the state of his/her residence.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to sit for up to 7 hours
    • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
