Summary:
Center For Family Services is seeking experienced and professional Support Coach/Residential Counselor for the Evolution Program. The Support Coach/Residential Counselor position requires patience, dedication, understanding, and a passion for engaging and providing supervision and structure for youth living in a residential treatment setting. The Support Coach/Residential Counselor provides direct counseling services, instructs and guides youth informally throughout their day to day activities, and co-leads recreation, and physical education activities. The program offers a serene, home-like setting for up to five male youth between the ages of 13-17. During their 6 to 9 month stay, youth receive supportive services from our highly-qualified team so they can be successfully reunited with family or transition into an independent living situation.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Support Coach/Residential Counselor engages in caring supervision and structure for youth in the home which is consistent with stated goals and objectives. This individual teaches budgeting, money management skills, provides life and social skills training, guides, instructs, and counsels youth in the program. The Support Coach/Residential Counselor oversees goal setting groups and provides one-on-one assistance. The Support Coach/Residential Counselor ensures that youth complete their goals as set forth in their treatment plan.
Requirements:
High School diploma is required but Bachelor's Degree preferred
At minimum of 2-3 years experience working with at risk youth
Must have ability to provide leadership, be a role model, and relate positively to youth
Current driver's license with an good driving record of at least three years
Must be able to work overnight shifts
Vehicle with current insurance and registration
