Position Summary:

Center For Family Services is seeking an experienced Early Family Partner for the Mosaic Early Learning. The Family Partner serves as a family advocate and liaison between children, families and community services in implementing eligibility, recruitment, selection, parent involvement, enrollment, attendance and best practices to ensure quality services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Family Partner completes Family Need Assessments for each family assigned, monitors attendance of students' and communicates with families if needed, organizes four parent group orientations per year for returning and new families, and meets with individual families as needed to orient them to Mosaic Early Learning.  This individual promotes and provides culturally competent client care and staff interactions that respond respectfully to the strengths and skills of diverse ethnicity, cultures and other diversity related factors. The Family Partner completes required documentation and attends all required staff meetings and activities and is responsible for understanding Mosaic Early Learning Performance Standards and local regulations. The Family Partner coordinates with Public Relations department to maintain updated recruitment materials, participates in community activities to educate the community on Mosaic Early Learning and obtains community resources for Mosaic Early Learning Families.  This individual forms collaborative agreements with community agencies, reviews enrollment applications, collects enrollment and medical documents from families and maintains input of case notes for both the family and the student. The Family Partner participates with the Center team on building and completing child profiles and accompanies center staff on home visits as needed.  This individual reports students' attendance daily and begins data entry into COPA of each student once he/she is accepted into the program.

 Requirements:  

  • FDC Certification
  • AA Degree or higher/SW, Sociology or related field
  • 2 years experience working with children and families of diversity
  • Maintain First Aid and CPR certifications
  • Current driver's license with an excellent driving record of at least three years
  • Vehicle with current insurance and registration
