POSITION SUMMARY:
Center For Family Services is seeking an experienced and
professional Vice President for Behavioral Health Outpatient. Under the
direction of the Chief Operating Officer, the Vice President of Behavioral
Health Outpatient is responsible for leading the agency's Behavioral Health and
Medicaid programming. Ensure all programs comply with Department of
Health and Family Services, and grant contractual policies and procedures.
Responsibilities include ensuring program compliance with policies and
procedures, management of the Medicaid programs, staffing and performance
management, business forecasting and planning, risk management, and client
services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create
and maintains a wellness and recovery-oriented environment-across the
Behavioral Health Services Sector-by using person-centered planning,
language and documentation, and by ensuring that services provided promote
wellness and recovery outcomes.
- Provide
direct supervision to Associate Vice President level staff in both
northern and southern regions.
- Work
collaboratively with the Chief Operating Officer, Grants Team and Budget
Analysts to submit timely grant applications to expand Behavioral Health
Services across the state of New Jersey.
- Attend
and participate in agency VP Council Meetings.
- Develop,
launch and implement new programs.
- Demonstrate
an understanding of NJ DMHAS regulations and fee-for-service Medicaid and
3rd party insurance billing.
- Build
strong relationships with stakeholders at the organization, county, state
and federal level to ensure that CFS fulfills its mission of expanding
services to communities who need them.
- Ensure
daily direction and evaluation of employees and participate in the
following processes along with HR and Executive Leadership: hiring,
employee counseling and terminations.
- Comfortable
leading professionals, at multiple levels, including BA level staff and
Clinicians including LAC/LPC, LSW/LCSW.
- Provide
education and technical assistance to team members regarding all areas of
the day-to-day operations of the Behavioral Health services.
- Ensure
that relevant data is collected for contract monitoring, quality
improvement, and other purposes as needed; ensure that data is used to
improve services provided.
- Ensure
coordination and integration of behavioral health services with other
Center for Family Services programs and other community programs/agencies
in a manner that benefits consumers served.
- Complete
all assigned paperwork in a neat, accurate and timely manner.
- Participate
in required staff training and staff meetings as scheduled.
- Participate
in Center and Program performance improvement activities.
- Follow
all company policies and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's
degree in social work or allied field of study, fully licensed in NJ to
provide clinical services (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT).
- Minimum
of 5-10 years of experience working with the serious and persistent
mentally ill population including dually diagnosed individuals.
- Valid
driver's license with acceptable driving record required.
- Completion
of a physical examination and completion of tests and vaccinations as
required by funder
