Duties and Responsibilities:
Make recommendations in hiring, disciplinary actions, promotion and termination in conjunction with human resources.
Conduct orientation and training for Behavioral Health staff.
Conduct regular staff evaluations and oversee implementation of the Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement Plan while providing staff with opportunities for leadership.
Attends and participates in Warren Regional Forum Meetings as assigned.
Ensures that all reports are completed and submitted within designated timeframes.
Attend community organization meetings to advocate for child/family needs as well as promoting the program.
Attend county meetings to establish and maintain community relationships.
Collaborate with community linkages.
Effectively act as a liaison between staff and all levels of administration.
Ensure compliance with all licensure requirements.
Reviews and ensures that all paperwork/reports required by program/service are completed and submitted within designated timeframes.
Ensure quality services are provided through monthly file reviews.
Provide competent, direct clinical services with children, adolescents, adults and families through a variety of modalities such as individual, group, and family therapy in office or in community through BHOP and SHE programs
Provide comprehensive clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment appropriate to psychiatric recommendations and members presenting concerns regardless of race, gender, culture, or ethnicity
Utilize interventions based on systemic, behavioral and cognitive modalities of treatment
Collaboratively develop individual and family service plans and goals which are behaviorally specific with the family
Provide care management services by coordinating services to meet the needs of the individual/family
Participates in regular clinical supervision in accordance with the guidelines of his/her professional organization; take responsibility with maintaining professional license; obtain advanced license, participate in staff professional development trainings and workshops as mandated/required
Provide crisis intervention as needed
Develop a transition plan with individuals/families to assist with termination and ensure linkage to ongoing support
Complete office orientation with new OPS clinicians as needed.
Provide ongoing support to all BHOP clinicians.
Provide support, training and supervision assigned staff and to interns.
Complete file reviews for BHOP program.
Assist with building community relationships and program awareness through outreach events/activities.
75%-80% will be allocated to direct service hours with 20%-25% on administrative functions
Qualifications
Master's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, counseling, psychology, psychiatric nursing, criminal justice, special education) and a minimum of five years post Master's related supervisory experience in the social services field.
Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker or possess an equivalent license from an accredited board and able to provide clinical supervision.
Experience with community relations and crisis intervention.
Must be energetic, creative, and able to work as part of a community resource team, and be culturally competent and responsive.
