Job Type/Status: Full-Time 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative supervision of program staff, students and volunteers. May supervise Program Coordinators. 

  • Assures the continuing training and development of program staff. 

  • Regularly schedules meetings with program staff to discuss plans, address areas of potential problems and program functioning. 

  • Coordinates program activities with appropriate liaison agencies to ensure constructive collaboration. 

  • Develops and promotes relationships with other social service agencies and represents the program and agency in the community. 

  • Performs administrative functions including the completion of regular reports in a timely manner as required by funding sources and the Agency, 

  • Serves on Agency-wide committees. 

  • Provides leadership to staff, and promotes a sense of agency with co-workers and staff, and communicates in ways that support agency mission and values. 

  • Contributes to the overall development of the Agency. 

  • Is responsible for oversight of the program. 

    • Lead treatment team and facilitate coordination between all disciplines within facility (Psychologist, Psychiatrist, Nurse, Senior and Support Counselors, Therapists, Allied Therapists and consultants) 

    •  Ensure that all activities are in compliance with treatment plans 

    • Participate in all debriefing and review of critical incidents activities 

  • Provides administrative supervision of counseling staff. 

    • Recruit and supervise House Managers, Support Counseling staff 15 youth 

    • Provide in-service training in areas needing strengthening 

    • On-call 24 hours for back up 

    • Conduct staff evaluations 

  • May provide psychoeducation and other direct service activity as needed. 

    • Conduct Meet and Greets and admission 

    • Address grievances of clients, family members, staff or other involved persons 

    • Handle on-call responsibilities of administrator-on-call/intake pager (coordinate all with DCP&P- CSOC and back up Senior Counselors in event of crisis). 

  • Responsible for administrative management of the program 

    • Ensure required documentation is secured for billing or other purposes 

    • Develop, update, and train staff in all personnel policies and procedures in compliance with regulating requirements of DCP&P, CSOC and COA 

    • With staff, youth and family input, develop and revise parent and resident handbooks to reflect best practice 

  • Any other related duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Masters in a Human Services field, with a minimum of 3 years equivalent experience with youth OR a Bachelors with a minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience working with you. 

  • Supervisory experience. 

  • Program administration experience.

  • At least ten years of experience in the field, five of which have been in a supervisory role. 

  • Experience with youth and families, preferably in a residential setting 

  • Nurtured Heart Approach, Structural Family Therapy, and Trauma Informed Care Training and Implementation
