Human Resources Manager (Voorhees)

SUMMARY:

Center For Family Services is seeking a highly knowledgeable and innovative Human Resources professional for a fast paced HR office supporting over 1100 employees. The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the administration, coordination, and evaluation of the Human Resources Department .  CFS is looking for an HR professional with fresh new ideas and a strategic mindset.  The perfect candidate will assist in a future-oriented process of developing and implementing HR functions that address and solve business problems and directly contribute to major long-term business objectives.

Location: Voorhees, NJ  

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Annually reviews and makes recommendations to executive management for improvement of the organization's policies, procedures and practices on personnel matters

  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures organization's compliance

  • Communicates changes in the organization's personnel policies and procedures and ensures that proper compliance is followed

  • Coordinates or conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations

  • Consults with legal counsel as directed by the CEO on personnel matters

  • Participates on committees, special projects, and seeks additional responsibilities

  • Supports management by providing human resources advice, consultation

  • Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values

  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions

  • Help strengthen trustworthy relationships with executives, program management, and employees.

  • Being computer savvy, bring new ideas, and innovation to motivate the HR team to do their best 

Requirements:

  • Master's degree with 5 or more years experience in Human Resources Management 

  • SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential preferred

  • Current driver's license and good driving record of 3 years

  • Vehicle with current insurance and registration
