$3000 Full Time and for LCSW, LCADC, RN, LPC, LMFT, 

$1500 Full Time and, for LSW, LPN, LAC, LAMFT

Summary: The Center for Family Services is looking for a Full Time Youth Counselor. The Youth Counselor works with a dynamic team of professionals providing counseling and support services to children, teens, and parents who have witnessed and/or experienced domestic violence in their home. The primary role of the Youth Counselor is to provide assessments, counseling using TF-CBT and psycho-

educational services.

Location: Vineland, NJ

Job Type/Status: Full Time

Job Requirements:

  • Maintain a caseload of counseling cases in the program
  • Provide weekly/bi-weekly individual counseling sessions with clients on caseload
  • Conduct to 2-3 weekly group sessions
  • Provide case management services as needed
  • Complete documentation and other reporting requirements
  • Maintain contact with referral sources and provide progress updates
  • Meets regularly with supervisor and participates in other continuing professional development opportunities.
  • Assist Program Director in completing reports and reviewing weekly invoices and progress notes
  • Complete file reviews, and follow-up calls for active and discharged clients
  • Other related duties as required.
Requirements:
  • MSW, or MA in a related human services field
  • Licensed (MFT, LCSW, LPC) preferred or license eligible
  • Bi-Lingual Spanish Speaking preferred but not required
  • Knowledge in the area of domestic violence
  • Experience working with children, teens and families
  • Willing to complete TF-CBT Training
  • Clearly communicate ideas in both written and verbal form
  • Valid driver's license in the state of his/her residence, insurance, and clean driving record.
