Full-Time Bilingual (Spanish) Outreach Worker Morris County
The Family Outreach Program (FOP) provides skill-building, psycho-education, case management, and advocacy to children up to the age of 18 and their families who live in Morris County. FOP also connects families to available community resources and provides support in the application process. FOP worker is responsible for meeting with families weekly or bi-weekly depending on their individual needs for a period of 3 to 6 months. Sessions take place in the family's home or in their community. FOP worker will also be responsible for facilitating quarterly parent-education groups. During pandemic, FOP has been maintaining support with families utilizing remote platforms for virtual meetings.
BA/BSW in social work or related social service field required
Must be proficient in Spanish and be able to work a flexible schedule (evening work is required).
Must have a valid driver's license, vehicle, and be able to pass a background check.
All positions require pre-employment drug screening and criminal record checks. Many positions require motor vehicle record evaluations and medical clearances.
