Location: Warren County, NJ

Job Type/Status: Part Time

Salary: $40,000 annually

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Complaint with funding source, contract and or program's Annex A
  • Complete required documentation within established timeframes per Federal, State, County, and agency regulations, policy and procedure
  • Core Responsibilities for Job Role/Sector:
  • Responsible clinical/administrative aspects of Safe Passages Medication-Assisted Treatment Program;
  • Represents the agency and the program at various professional and other meetings,
  • Manages the quality assurance program across substance use services including chart reviews, timely completion of clinical notes, treatment plans and time-sensitive reports to referral sources, etc;
  • Checks NJSAMS to ensure that outlier reports and referrals from IDRC and IME are printed and followed-up on;
  • Checks SAI/BHI to ensure that referral reports are printed and followed-up on;
  • Assist with ongoing community asset mapping, community education, needs assessment process and special events;
  • Program development includes writing grants to county, state, federal and private donors to expand the substance use services department and agency;
  • Maintains a clinical caseload;
  • Serves as a back-up to approve notes and treatment plans for substance use disorder treatment staff;
  • Works with substance use services staff to expand services such as group therapy, in multiple FGC locations (outpatient groups, intensive outpatient groups and partnering with various agencies on grants/new ventures);
  • Be an organized, flexible, well-rounded professional with a global understanding of the rapidly changing behavioral health landscape and the ability to communicate this to staff/stakeholders;
  • Evaluates program supervisors on a regular basis, both formally and informally, and participates in the hiring and termination process of program staff and ensures that staff are oriented to and operating according to established agency and program procedures;
  • Completes and submits reports in a timely manner;
  • Stays familiar with community resources including 12-step and other self-help groups, and refers clients as indicated;
  • Assists with monthly and quarterly department meetings and attends scheduled administrative/clinical meetings;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work or Licensed Professional Counseling
  • Demonstration of successful program oversight
  • Ability to develop and maintain close oversight of program levels of service & budgets
  • Demonstration of management of staff, at various levels.
