Position Summary:

New Day Family Success Center is looking for a Volunteer and Community Partnership Coordinator. We are looking for an outgoing, highly motivated and ambitious individual to help recruit, train and inspire the families of the community. The Volunteer and Community Partnership Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, training and managing volunteers and interns, managing the social media accounts for the Center, and maintaining a presence in the community through tabling events, seminars, training and speaking engagements. The Volunteer & Community Partnership Coordinator will be a vital component of the Center, ensuring that the Center is marketed within the community, while also assisting in the day-to-day operations of the site. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervises and manages volunteers to ensure quality services and events
  • Responsible for gathering, understanding and sharing community resources and volunteers development by integrating him/herself into the immediate community and building mutually beneficial relationships with parents, faith communities, business, advocates and key stakeholders
  • Interpret New Day Family Success Centers to community groups or organizations, and represents the agency in selected activities related to its goals
  • Performs public speaking and other public relations when requested

 Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college
  • Additional education and previous experience in recruiting, training, and coordinating volunteers for community based organizations, charities, etc. is preferred
  • Demonstrates knowledge of ability to work will within a team environment 
  • Current driver's license and good driving record
  • Vehicle with current insurance and registration
