POSITION SUMMARY:
The CSVA Coordinator will support the county's survivor responses by recruiting, training, and supporting both on-staff and volunteer CSVA's. The CSVA Coordinator will be responsible for building countywide capacity to respond to survivors through a high-quality, responsive, and sustainable CSVA team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Comply with funding source, contract and or program's Annex A.
- Complete required documentation within established timeframes per Federal, State, County, and agency regulations, policy and procedure.
- (BHOP) Provide competent, direct clinical services with children, adolescents, adults and families through a variety of modalities such as individual, group, and family therapy in office. (SERV) Provide individual and group counseling to adolescent (12 years+) and adult victims of sexual violence as well as their non-offending family members and significant others. ?
- Provide comprehensive clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment appropriate to psychiatric recommendations and clients' presenting concerns regardless of race, gender, culture, or ethnicity.
- Utilize interventions based on systemic, behavioral and cognitive modalities of treatment.
- Collaboratively develop individual and family treatment plans and goals which are behaviorally specific with the family.
- Provide care management services by coordinating services to meet the needs of the individual/family.
- (SERV) Provide clients with up-to-date case-related medical and legal information and appropriate referrals as needed.
- Provide crisis intervention as needed.
- Develop a transition plan with individuals/families to assist with termination and ensure linkage to ongoing support.
- Participates in regular clinical supervision in accordance with the guidelines of his/her/their professional organization; take responsibility with maintaining professional license; obtain advanced license.
- Attend and participate in clinical supervision and team as well as any required meetings as deemed necessary.
- Willingness to utilize clinical supervision to promote independent decision-making and enhance system collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
- Collaborate with other SERV staff, including Advocates and Case Managers to ensure comprehensive services are provided to clients.
- Attend program/agency, community, county and state meetings.
- Maintain weekly/monthly/annual productivity target minimally 70% direct service hours.
- Administer and collect program evaluations.
- Must be able work evenings as needed.
- Assist with other office procedures pertinent to the operation of the program.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's Degree in related human services field.
- Clinical Licensure as a social worker or licensed professional counselor or possess an equivalent license from an accredited board.
- Knowledge, training and application of empirically supported treatment for trauma, such as Prolonged Exposure (PE) Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and/or Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
- Minimum one year direct clinical experience, providing psychotherapy within a behavioral health setting.
- Prior experience providing advocacy and/or case management is preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
