Summary:

Center For Family Services Workforce Development partners with public/private organizations to provide access to wrap-around social services, support linkages, job readiness skills and career exploration. Services offered will include one-on-one case management, coaching and emotional support, financial literacy, career guidance and connections to community resources. The goal is to address the employment-related needs necessary to assist veterans who are experiencing homelessness or who are at risk of homelessness. The program is intended to support veterans experiencing homelessness to reintegrate into society through participation in the workforce.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations of the HVRP, including staff management, participant engagement, outreach and recruitment, partner engagement and program reporting
• Address and respond to the needs of veterans' experiencing homelessness
• Conduct participant intakes to determine program eligibility
• Develop a comprehensive employment plan for participants
• Provide on-going support to track outcomes
• Promote job retention
• Provide job readiness and career exploration services to participants
• Identify and build internal and external partnerships between public, private and other nonprofit organizations
• Identify, build and maintain an employer network
• Work closely with internal CFS staff and partners to provide seamless services to participants ? Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred. Work experience in the related field could be substituted for education.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, Google forms, and online database tracking systems. ? Ability to maintain a leadership role with the participants to motivate and influence positive behaviors.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple demands
• Demonstrated experience navigating workforce development and/or workforce services systems.
• Case Management experience
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Must have access to a registered and insured vehicle for transportation to programs throughout Southern New Jersey. Valid driver's license.
