Summary
The bilingual Regional Supervisor Lead Case Manager supervises all home study activities, provides supervision for case managers and oversees the assignment, referrals, and training of new case managers. This position will oversee compliance with all funder policies and procedures and ensure program is operating at max efficiency and will support all aspects of supervision for the Juntos home study program, which supports family unification for unaccompanied minor children, family preservation, kinship care, and general child well-being.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise activities related to Home Studies(HS) and Post Release Services (PRS) of unaccompanied minor child(ren) with their     appropriate sponsors, consistent with internal CFS procedures and U.S. Health and Human Services(HHS), Office of Refugee         Resettlement(ORR) policy.
  • Provide an array of comprehensive supervisory services with the goal of effectively addressing the family's barriers and                 strengthening their preventive skills from a strength based and solution focused perspective.
  • Oversee the assignment of referrals, training new case managers, and supervising the work of other Case Managers.
  • Provide leadership for the HS/PRS provider by promoting the safety and well-being of   UAC.
  • Comply with CFS and ORR policies and procedures governing the program and ensure that the program is operating at                   maximum efficiency.
  • Contribute to the organization's overall efforts to enhance permanency options for families by performing tasks in a timely             manner; providing updates on a regular basis; observing the agency's work schedule and attendance policies; and follow all           agency regulations as outlined in the Employee Manual.
  • Meet or exceed program productivity expectations on a regular and sustained basis.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • MSW degree or an equivalent degree in behavior sciences or a social service field. The Regional Supervisor/Lead Case Manager     must also have approximately 3 years of progressive experience in the fields listed above.
  • Or, Bachelor's degree in one of the aforementioned sciences, plus approximately 5 years of relevant employment experience,         that demonstrates supervisory and case management experience.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English.

Center For Family Services' Juntos program conducts the home study for sponsor families who are awaiting placement of children in need of a safe place to live. The home study ensures a safe, warm and caring temporary home for immigrant children while in the care of a sponsor until the child's family unification process is complete. Juntos services focus on the safety of each child and utilize Nurtured Heart, a trauma informed care approach, which emphasizes physical, psychological and emotional safety and helps children rebuild a sense of safety and control.
