Position Summary:

Center For Family Services is seeking a Clinician for its Family Stabilization Program (FSP).  FSP provides an array of community based therapeutic counseling and case management services with the goal of stabilizing children at home who may be at risk for out of home placement, when families are working towards reunification with their children or when children in long-term foster care are having trouble, or in a community based setting.  Referrals are made by DCP&P.  The Clinician is responsible for counseling sessions that are held in the in the home or community for up to 12 months

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Meet weekly for individual and team supervision
• Assess needs and provide therapy to families and children in the home or community
• Collaboration with DCP&P and attend monthly staffing
• Carry cases per program requirements
• Monitor case progress toward goal achievement
• Practice sound clinical and case management judgement
• Submit and maintain paperwork as per agency expectations
• Must be available for on-call (evenings and weekends) rotating basis

Requirements:

• Must have professional license LAC/LPC/LSW/LCSW. 
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organization and assessment skills. 
• Excellent writing skills and computer literate. 
• Must be energetic, reliable and able to work as part of a team. 
• Must be culturally sensitive to work with diverse populations. 
• Valid NJ driver's license and reliable transportation.  
• Must be willing to provide services to families in the home and community. Evening availability required.
